Tony Macaulay

Tony Macaulay is a writer and independent consultant who has worked in community development and peacebuilding in Northern Ireland for the past 30 years. He has lived on the peaceline in Belfast and has worked on many community initiatives designed to improve inter community relations and reduce conflict. In 2008 he wrote a discussion paper proposing a process for the removal of peace walls in Northern Ireland. His memoir,’ Paperboy’, tells his story of growing up in the shadow of the peace walls in West Belfast in the 1970s, and will be published by HarperCollins in November.
