Karolina Golimowska

The author is a PhD candidate at the Department of English and American Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin and currently a visiting scholar at the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University. She grew up in Warsaw and came to Berlin in 2003. She studied English and American Studies, German Literature and Media Studies in Berlin and London. She works as a conference interpreter, translator and author. In 2014 she was awarded with the German-Polish Journalism Award.
