Gareth Evans

Gareth Evans is the former president of the “International Crisis Group” and a professorial fellow at Melbourne University. From 1988 to 1996, Evans served as foreign minister of Australia as a member of the country’s Labour Party. He is the author of the book “The Responsibility to Protect: Ending Mass Atrocity Crimes Once and For All” (2009).
